Christa Pfeiffer is a professional singer and voice teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. She teaches private voice lessons in San Rafael, specializing in classical and early music. Her teaching philosophy aims to help students sing in the most free, natural and expressive manner through technique incorporating optimal breathing, body alignment, and vowel purity. She creates a safe space for individuals to express themselves without judgement, encouraging vulnerability and building confidence. She accepts students aged 13 and older at all experience levels, teaching interpretation, performance practice, diction, audition preparation, and sight-reading. She hosts biannual studio recitals providing supportive performance experiences.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Eastman School of Music. Early musical training supplemented by Saturday classes at SF Conservatory of Music.
