Cassie Donegan is an accomplished musical theatre performer, vocalist, and voice instructor who has been part of the performing arts community for over a decade. Beginning her career in professional theatre at the age of nine, she has worked alongside Broadway alumni and professional theatre companies. She studied Musical Theatre at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, completing their award-winning Bachelor of Fine Arts program with a focus on vocal and theatrical performance. As a theatre and voice instructor at Centerstage Academy in Yorktown, Virginia, she specializes in voice lessons, acting, audition preparation, and performance coaching for students of all ages and levels. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes helping students develop both technical vocal skills and confident stage presence. Donegans performances include roles in major theatrical productions such as Tarzan at James-York Playhouse and numerous other regional theatre productions. In 2025, she was crowned Miss America 2026, representing New York, making her the 98th woman to hold the prestigious title. During her Miss America competition, she advanced to the top 11 and was recognized as one of three talent competition winners, demonstrating her exceptional vocal abilities on an international stage. According to Centerstage Academys Artistic Director Cory Steiger, her voice is described as rich, classic, and star-quality. Donegans platform as Miss America focuses on promoting arts education in school systems, reflecting her passion for helping students access quality arts training.
