Camille Ortiz
About
Camille Ortiz is an Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance. She is an internationally recognized Puerto Rican soprano known for compelling performances in baroque and operatic repertoire. Her 2024-2025 season brought her mainstage debut with Seattle Opera as Pamina in the production of Mozart's The Magic Flute. During the 2021-2022 season, she performed as Pamina in Eugene Opera's production of The Magic Flute and made a Kennedy Center debut with Opera Lafayette. BBC Music Magazine named her the vocal stand-out for an acclaimed CD recording. She has performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center with extensive performance experience in baroque and contemporary repertoire.
