Dr. Bryon Grohman is an Associate Professor of Music (Voice) at Wake Forest University, where he has taught since 2017. A tenor described by Opera News as a superb singing actor with clear, ringing instrument and peerless diction, he has performed extensively with Seraphic Fire, a prominent professional vocal ensemble. Before joining Wake Forest, he served as Assistant Professor and Chair of Vocal Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Dr. Grohman earned his Doctor of Musical Arts from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, as well as Master and Baccalaureate degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. He is committed to preparing students to meet the challenges of music performance in the 21st century through developing outstanding musicianship, flexible vocal technique, and adaptive artistic temperament.
