About
Brooke Spicer is a soprano vocalist and Coordinator of Music and Conference Services at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. As a 2018 graduate of Lycoming College, Brooke studied voice for four years under renowned instructor Emily Wertz and won first place in the senior women's division of the Allegheny Mountain Region NATS Competition. During her undergraduate years, she performed with multiple college ensembles and toured internationally, appearing as a soloist in Shanghai and Beijing, China. Her stage credits include roles in operatic productions, and she has held professional section leader positions at two Williamsport churches while also performing with community choirs and orchestras. Brooke was recognized in 2024 with the Rookie Warrior of the Year Award, acknowledging her exceptional contributions to Lycoming College as a new staff member. Her background as a voice student at Lycoming combined with her current role coordinating music programs positions her as a valuable resource for singers seeking instruction. With her understanding of proper vocal technique, music performance practices, and pedagogical approaches, Brooke works with students of various ages and ability levels, specializing in classical vocal training and performance preparation.
