Brian Osborne
About
Brian Osborne is Professor of Practice in Musical Theatre at Auburn University, where he serves as music director and vocal coach for opera and musical theatre productions. He holds degrees in Vocal Performance from the University of Georgia and Florida State University, plus a Master's in Collaborative Piano from the University of Tennessee. His multifaceted career spans professional theatre companies, summer music programs, and universities as a music director, vocal coach, pianist, singer, actor, and model. In 2022, he served as principal vocal coach and back-up vocalist for Doom Patrol, an HBO Max series. He maintains an active private coaching studio in Atlanta and regularly works with regional theatre companies including The Alliance Theatre and Marietta Theatre Company. Professor Osborne has received Outstanding Music Direction awards from KCACTF, the International Arts Associate award from Sigma Alpha Iota, and the Faculty Artistic Award at Reinhardt University, where he previously taught. He has music directed over 85 productions throughout his career.
