Brian Nedvin is an Associate Professor and Director of Vocal Studies at Old Dominion University's Diehn School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. A professional tenor with extensive performance experience, Nedvin has performed with major opera companies including New York City Opera, Washington Opera, and Pittsburgh Opera in principal roles such as the Duke in Rigoletto and Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville. He has also performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall with the Opera Orchestra of New York and with the American Symphony Orchestra. As a director of vocal studies, Nedvin is dedicated to training the next generation of vocal artists with a focus on technical excellence and artistic development. His research interests span vocal pedagogy and the history of music, with particular attention to music of the Holocaust.
