Brian Gill
About
Brian Gill is a Professor of Music (Voice) at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, one of the premier music schools in the United States. A tenor with extensive performance experience across operatic, musical theater, and diverse musical genres, Gill brings a very diverse performing career spanning classical to rock, funk, and Indian classical music. He holds a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky and a Certificate in Vocology from the University of Iowa's National Center for Voice and Speech. He was a 2011 Van L. Lawrence Fellowship recipient and previously served as music associate professor and director of vocal pedagogy at NYU's Steinhardt School. He maintains an active presence as a master clinician and guest lecturer internationally, bringing deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the newest technologies to voice pedagogy and instruction.
