About
Brejoya Smarr is the Founder and Director of Daytona Beach Music Academy, where she has been providing quality music education to children and adults for over nine years. A classically trained soprano, she graduated from Brewton Parker College with a degree in church music and was recognized as the First Year Teacher of the Year for Volusia County Schools. In high school, she served as soprano section leader and won SUPERIOR ratings at both district and state levels, demonstrating exceptional vocal talent and leadership. Brejoya began giving private voice lessons in 2007 while completing vocal pedagogy coursework during her junior year in college, establishing herself as a dedicated vocal instructor. In 2014, she founded Daytona Beach Music Academy to expand her mission of providing accessible, high-quality music education to the community. Beyond her work in music education, Brejoya is also the founder of Arts Transforming Our Tomorrow Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth arts programs and providing scholarships for students in need. Her comprehensive approach to music education combines technical vocal training, music theory, and performance preparation for students of all ages and skill levels.
