Brandon Hendrickson is an Associate Professor of Voice at Louisiana State University School of Music, recognized by Opera News Magazine for his 'mellifluous' and 'beautiful baritone.' With an extensive international career, he has performed standard and contemporary opera, musical theater, concert work, and recital repertoire across domestic and international stages. His recent notable performances include roles such as the 1st Mate in Des Moines Metro Opera's Emmy Award-winning production of Benjamin Britten's Billy Budd and Captain Smith in an American Prize First Place-winning production of Titanic: The Musical with Bob Jones University. His opera experience encompasses principal roles including Don Giovanni, Conte Almaviva, Figaro, Guglielmo, Papageno, Doctor Bartolo, Marcello, Schaunard, Gianni Schicchi, and Falke across major works by Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, and Strauss. As a concert and orchestral artist, he has been featured as baritone soloist in works by Orff, Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Duruflé, and Mahler, with guest appearances featuring major orchestras including the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. He has also received SEC Travel Grants for master classes and recitals, and has performed internationally in Malaysia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, and Italy.
