Bradley Thompson

Dr. Bradley Thompson is an American baritone who joined the faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2003 and has served as Coordinator of Vocal Studies since 2010. A native of Norcross, Georgia, he earned his DMA in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado, studying under Patrick Mason. He made his Carnegie Hall solo debut in 2015. His operatic repertoire spans over ninety performances of some thirty different roles, including his acclaimed portrayal of the title role in Verdi's Falstaff. He has appeared with numerous opera companies including Opera Colorado, Capitol City Opera Company, Utah Festival Opera, Central City Opera, Opera Fort Collins, and Opera Theatre of the Rockies. His students have appeared with Arvada Center, Boulder Opera, Boulder Symphony, Loveland Opera Theatre, and Central City Opera Ensemble, with many receiving recognition in NATS and Classical Singer competitions. He is renowned for an evidence-based teaching approach.
