Blayne Ziegenfuss
About
Blayne Ziegenfuss is a tenor and voice teacher based in Knoxville, TN, and founder of Ziegenfuss Voice Studio LLC, established in 2014. He specializes in voice and musical theatre training for students ages 10-18, offering both in-person lessons in Knoxville and online instruction to students internationally. With ten years of private teaching experience and a background in performing professionally in opera, musical theatre, choral, and recital settings, Blayne combines sound understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology with a flexible and encouraging teaching style. He is certified as a Vocal Health First Aider through Vocal Health Education UK and is currently completing his 1600-hour certification in the Alexander Technique, having already completed 160 hours of training. As an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), he emphasizes evidence-based vocal pedagogy and healthy vocal technique in his studio work.
Education & Qualifications
Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 160 hours of Alexander Technique training (currently completing 1600-hour certification). Certified Vocal Health First Aider through Vocal Health Education UK.
