Beverly Lambert
About
Beverly Lambert is a professional lyric soprano and voice teacher born in Stamford and raised in Norwalk, CT. Her distinguished career includes performances at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, New York City Opera, and Broadway. Selected by Beverly Sills to play Fiona in Brigadoon at NYC Opera, she later starred as Anne in A Little Night Music, broadcast on PBS. In 1989, she sang before Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in a U.S. State Department production of Showboat at the Cairo Opera House. Throughout her career, Beverly shared the stage with Liza Minelli, Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, Glenn Close, Sergio Franchi, and Raul Julia. Now based in Westport, she teaches the next generation of Broadway and opera singers in her private studio in Fairfield.
