Beth Everett
About
Dr. Beth Everett is an Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, where she conducts the MC Singers and Choctaw Chorus. She also serves as Artistic Director of The Mississippi Chorus and holds the position of Interim Choir Director at First Baptist Church in Jackson. As a mezzo-soprano performer, Dr. Everett regularly performs major choral solos from works like Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, Mozart's Requiem, and Mendelssohn's Elijah. Her conducting experience spans opera and musical theater productions including Carmen, A Chorus Line, Godspell, Carousel, and Into the Woods. She spent several years as musical director and chorus master with the Natchez Festival of Music and has conducted numerous Gilbert and Sullivan operas and contemporary musicals.
