Ben Miller
About
Ben Miller is an award-winning conductor, pianist, and singer from Newport News, Virginia. He was Adjunct Faculty for Musical Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2014 to 2019, where he taught private voice lessons and conducted mainstage productions. As a performer, Ben has worked as keyboard player for Broadway national tours including Wicked, The Book of Mormon, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. He has worked as a teaching artist with SPARC, Virginia Rep, Richmond Ballet's Minds in Motion, and Richmond Area Schools. Ben won the Richmond Theatre Critic's Circle Award for his music direction on In the Heights. He founded The Miller Studio in Richmond to provide serious vocal study with a comprehensive approach to music education. His studio prioritizes vocal health and student well-being through individualized instruction tailored to each student's developmental stage.
