Audrey Bush is an accomplished musician and violin instructor based in Columbia, Missouri, specializing in folk and traditional music styles. She was born into a family of musicians from the small river town of Washington, Missouri, and began learning violin at age five. Her musical training encompasses both classical violin fundamentals and authentic folk and fiddle traditions, bringing a deep understanding of both technical precision and expressive interpretation. Audreys favorite style of music to play ranges from folk-bluegrass to medieval to gypsy Romani music, reflecting her diverse musical interests and cultural appreciation. She has worked at A Major Music Lessons since 2020, where she offers private violin instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Audrey completed her BA in English from the University of Missouri in spring 2023 and is currently pursuing graduate studies. Her unique combination of musicianship, teaching experience, and academic background allows her to bring both artistic depth and intellectual rigor to music instruction, helping students develop strong technical skills while exploring the rich cultural and historical contexts of the musical traditions she teaches.
