Aude Urbancic
About
Aude Urbancic is an accomplished vocal coach, pianist, and collaborative musician specializing in vocal accompaniment and vocal development. She holds a Doctorate of Music in Collaborative Piano with a specialization in vocal accompaniment from the University of Montreal, where she studied with renowned mentors Francis Perron, Liz Upchurch, and Robin Wheeler. She also holds a Master's Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Ottawa and a Diploma in Collaborative Piano from the University of Montreal. Aude is a studio pianist and vocal coach at The Bytown School of Singing in Ottawa, where she collaborates with singers of all levels. She is the Music Director at Church of the Ascension, the Artistic Director of the Ottawa Carleton Male Choir, and the pianist for the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir. She also plays for both vocal and instrumental studios at the University of Ottawa. With a particular passion for opera and choral music, Aude maintains a large teaching studio and is a sought-after clinician who has adjudicated at competitive music festivals and conducted masterclasses across Canada. Her collaborative work helps singers develop strong technique, musical interpretation, and artistic confidence.
