Ashten Smith has been actively teaching private lessons in Voice, Piano, and Guitar for over 14 years at Music Masters Studio in Eugene, Oregon. As a professional opera singer, Ashten made her professional opera debut performing the leading role of Grand Duchess with Wichita Grand Opera's production of Offenbach's The Grand Duchess in July 2015. She has also performed with Eugene Opera in Eugene, Oregon. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes understanding the voice as a human instrument and the psychophysical (mind-body) aspects of the vocal process. She teaches all levels of Voice and beginner to intermediate Guitar and Piano.
