Ariel Thiermann, M.A., is an award-winning singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with over 25 years of experience in music and vocal coaching. She holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and published her thesis, "Rising Into Song," which explores the therapeutic benefits of voice work including singing, vocal improvisation, and songwriting for all ages. As a performer, Ariel has released seven albums and performed at iconic venues including The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, The Bedford in London, The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, The Sunset Center in Carmel, and The Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz. As a teenager, she toured internationally with her a cappella trio Mayim, which received the Gayle Rich Award for their contribution through the arts in Santa Cruz. Ariel created Get Vocal, a voice-centered approach to healing and self-expression that blends psychology, vocal work, and the creative process. Her coaching emphasizes discovering one's authentic voice, building confidence, and fostering self-connection through singing and songwriting as therapeutic artistic expressions.
