Ariana Wyatt
About
Ariana Wyatt is a Professor of Voice at Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts and an accomplished opera singer who is a graduate of the prestigious Juilliard Opera Center. Originally from Southern California, she holds advanced degrees from the University of Southern California including both a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music, along with an Artist Diploma from Juilliard. Her distinguished performance career includes leading roles with major opera companies, including Micaela in The Tragedy of Carmen for Opera Omaha and Leila in Les Pêcheurs de Perles at Florida Grand Opera. She is a recognized competitor in national vocal competitions, having earned the 2004 National Semi-Finalist distinction and the 2003 First Place Winner award in the Western Region Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Her achievements also include finalist status in the Charles A. Lynam Vocal Competition and victories in the New West Symphony and Pasadena Opera competitions. At Virginia Tech, she teaches Applied Voice, Opera Workshop, and Lyric Diction, bringing her extensive operatic experience and expertise in vocal performance and interpretation to her students.
