Anneke Van Slyke is a vocalist and voice instructor based in Bloomington, Indiana, with background and training in both musical theater and opera. Originally from Syracuse, New York, she has extensive performance experience across both genres. She teaches voice and piano at The Davis Academy of Music in Bloomington, where she creates a safe place for students to experiment with their voices and develop their talents. She is passionate about helping students feel accepted while being encouraged to be their best selves. Her teaching approach emphasizes vocal technique, performance confidence, and exploring diverse musical styles.
