Annabeth Novitzki is a voice teacher and vocal coach based in Austin, Texas, who describes herself as a midwife for the voice, bringing depth of expertise and breadth of skill to personalized sessions rooted in collaboration and mindfulness. She earned her BFA in Vocal Performance with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004, followed by a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Memphis. Annabeth has been teaching private music lessons since 2004, offering instruction via Zoom or in-person at her Austin studio. Her teaching specializations include vocal coaching and singing, piano lessons, leadership and stage presence, music collaboration, technique and theory, and performance coaching. Beyond her private teaching practice, Annabeth has extensive experience in music leadership roles, having served as Director of Music and Art at First Congregational Church of Memphis for seven years and as a music staff member at First Unitarian Universalist of Austin for five years. She is certified in Relateful Coaching and Facilitation and serves as Head Facilitator of Relateful Austin. Annabeth's unique approach integrates training in mindfulness, authentic relating, nonviolent communication, and conducting into her vocal instruction, creating a holistic teaching methodology that addresses both technical excellence and artistic authenticity.
