Ann Marie Daehn

Dr. Ann Marie Wilcox-Daehn is an Associate Professor of Voice and Opera at Missouri State University and Director of the Missouri State University Opera Theatre. A mezzo-soprano whose career includes oratorio, opera, art song, and musical theater, she has performed at Carnegie Hall in major classical works and maintains an active solo and chamber recital career with over 50 operatic roles. She serves as Central Region Governor for the National Opera Association and is Resident Stage Director for Springfield Regional Opera. Multiple Ernst Bacon American Prize winner and 2021 Charles Nelson Reilly American Prize finalist in professional directing, her ensembles have earned first place nationally at the National Opera Association's Scenes Competition. She is founder of East Wing Songs, a nonprofit commissioning works about First Ladies.
