Angelica Ross Alvarez is a distinguished vocal coach and private voice instructor based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and is the current District Governor of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), a position reflecting her commitment to excellence in vocal instruction. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a career spanning both classical and musical theater performance, Angelica has developed a comprehensive approach to vocal training. She has performed with the Virginia Symphony, Virginia Opera, Colorado Springs Chorale & Symphony, The Opera Factory, and various regional theaters. Her teaching studio welcomes students from beginner to advanced levels, with particular expertise in Broadway and classical vocal training. Angelica specializes in audition preparation, college preparation, and customized lessons covering warm-ups, vocal technique, music selection, and acting. She serves students throughout Aquidneck Island and the surrounding areas, bringing professional experience and pedagogical expertise to each student.
