Angela Santucci brings fourteen years of experience as a theatre instructor and private voice teacher at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, North Carolina. She established her own music lesson studio in North Raleigh and maintains an active presence in the performing arts community. Ms. Santucci is the recipient of Ravenscroft School's highest teaching honor, the Qubain Excellence in Teaching Award (2010). She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Educational Theatre Association, and serves on the board of Burning Coal Theatre Company and North Carolina Master Chorale. Her teaching approach emphasizes establishing a life in singing by finding the right teacher early, applying classical vocal technique across multiple genres while developing good technique, strong practice habits, and thorough musicianship. Angela has performed solo in Handel's Messiah and John Rutter's Requiem, toured with Austin Chamber Music Center in Germany, and performed with North Carolina Opera, North Carolina Master Chorale, Hillyer Community Chorus, Capital Opera, and City Ballet.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northern Arizona University (studied with Paul Kiesgen); Master's Degree in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (completed 2010).
