Angela Hicks is a classically trained vocalist and instructor with 14 years of experience teaching vocal and theater production. Beginning her vocal technique training in Opera and Broadway in 2001, Angela later expanded her expertise into Jazz, R&B, and Pop vocal styles. She performs regularly at various venues throughout Southwest Florida as both a vocalist and musician. Angela serves as Director of Education and Engagement at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers, where she brings her expertise in arts education and community engagement. In the Surge program at Davis School of Music, Angela contributes engineering skills by utilizing state-of-the-art recording studio Six Fingers Studios to provide students with hands-on recording concepts and professional studio experience. Her teaching approach combines classical vocal technique with contemporary styles, helping students develop versatile vocal skills across multiple genres.
