Andrew Wheeler is a music director, conductor, vocal technician, and acting coach based in New York with nearly 25 years of experience as a music director and performer, and over 10 years working as a private voice coach and vocal technician. He has been described as "razor sharp," "a standout," and "a tremendous collaborator" by industry professionals. His Broadway credits include Waitress and Shuffle Along, with Off-Broadway work including Fiddler On the Roof in Yiddish (which won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival). Wheeler has led orchestras for major productions, including 18 months conducting Joel Greys Fiddler On The Roof - In Yiddish. He has collaborated extensively on feature films, television episodes, and orchestrations for new musicals and symphony adaptations. As a vocal coach, Andrew specializes in tailoring his approach to singing based on a deep understanding of the physiology of the voice, helping clients achieve healthy, powerful, and expressive singing. He maintains a full vocal studio in New York City and teaches voice and coaches actors full-time, including online sessions and in-person instruction in State College, Pennsylvania.
