Dr. Andrew Stuckey is an Associate Professor of Voice at the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music, where he teaches studio voice, diction, and the history of opera. A seasoned baritone with an accomplished international performance career, Dr. Stuckey is particularly renowned for his respected interpretations of the demanding Verdi baritone roles. His extensive performance background includes numerous opera productions worldwide, collaborations with renowned conductors, and performances with prestigious opera companies. Dr. Stuckey has taught internationally in France, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, and throughout the United States, sharing his expertise in vocal technique, interpretation, and performance preparation. At the University of Arizona, he maintains a private teaching studio where he guides students through comprehensive voice study, emphasizing secure technique, stylistic interpretation, and preparation for professional performance. His teaching approach combines rigorous vocal technique instruction with performance experience, preparing students for successful careers in opera, concert, and teaching. Dr. Stuckey is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
