Anand Brian Darsie is an enthusiastic and compassionate voice and piano teacher serving the greater Santa Cruz area. He teaches from his studio in Santa Cruz and travels to homes throughout Santa Cruz County, including Watsonville, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Aromas, Corralitos, Aptos, Capitola, Soquel, Pleasure Point, Live Oak, Twin Lakes, Paradise Park, Rincon, and Pasatiempo. Anand inspires students of all ages through time-tested methods delivered with contemporary scientific understanding and a playful, dynamic spirit. His teaching approach is encouraging, creative, and adaptable to each student's individual needs and goals. He works with students across classical and popular styles, offering both in-studio, in-home, and online lessons through his affiliation with Richman Music School. With a background that includes yoga instruction, Anand brings a holistic approach to voice teaching that emphasizes breath, body awareness, and the joy of musical expression.
