Amy Biondo
About
Amy Biondo is a Denver/Boulder vocalist, composer, dancer, vocal empowerment coach, and voice mentor with a 4-octave range. She is equally comfortable performing modern jazz compositions, traditional folk songs in Spanish, Portuguese, or French, or rock music. Amy holds a Master of Arts degree from Naropa University in Contemplative Psychotherapy, is a certified IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) teacher, and is a graduate of the Somatic Voicework teacher training. She has trained extensively in music and improvisation with Art Lande, Rhiannon, Mark Miller, and others, and has been a meditation and yoga practitioner for over 25 years. Amy's unique approach combines contemplative practices and improvisation to unleash the full power of the body and emotions and integrate them into the voice, making her a sought-after vocal coach for holistic vocal training. She performs with Los Bohemios (Afro-Cuban/Mexican), Milestone (variety), and a duo with Colorado jazz guitarist Bill Kopper.
