Amanda Haag is an accomplished vocalist and music educator serving the Lehigh Valley community as Program Manager and Choral Director of El Sistema Lehigh Valley at Miller Symphony Hall in downtown Allentown. She holds a degree in Music with minors in Psychology and Health Science from Northeastern University in Boston, where she served in multiple leadership roles including Musical Director, Band Director, Producer, Private Vocal Instructor, and Private Musical Theatre Coach. Amanda is a classically trained soprano who has performed as a soloist and ensemble member in prestigious venues across Europe and the United States, including performances at Carnegie Hall and The Alice Tully Hall in New York City. She spent six months teaching music and ESL in Barcelona, Spain, expanding her experience with diverse musical traditions. In addition to her vocal performance expertise, Amanda has developed professional skills in music production and sound engineering. She currently directs the El Sistema Lehigh Valley Chorus, preparing students for performances with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra and other major regional venues. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes accessibility to quality musical education for all students, regardless of background or experience level.
