She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from the University of Georgia's Hugh Hodgson School of Music, where she developed expertise in both voice performance and music composition. During her studies at UGA, Allyson participated in the Franklin Advanced Music Performance study abroad program in Italy, an immersive educational experience that deepened her musical artistry and international performance exposure. As a talented musician herself, she began her musical journey at age six and has extensive experience performing and teaching across multiple musical genres. Her teaching approach emphasizes developing strong vocal technique while exploring diverse musical styles from classical to contemporary repertoire. Allysons background as a composer gives her unique insights into helping students understand music theory, arrangement, and the creative process. She works with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their vocal abilities and achieve their musical goals.
