Alli Mae Carnes
About
Alli Mae Carnes is a Raleigh, NC-based performer and educator with over 20 years of experience in dance, theatre, and film. She founded The Alli Mae Carnes Studio in 2020, where she teaches acting, voice, and dance to students ages 5 and up in private and group formats. As an adjunct professor at William Peace University Musical Theatre Department, she brings professional experience from regional theatre productions including Legally Blonde, A Little Night Music, and Next to Normal. Alli Mae is a Certified Trauma-Informed Voice Professional Level 4 and implements neurodiversity-affirming and mental health-informed approaches in her teaching. She specializes in vocal health, audition coaching, performance anxiety management, and musical theatre training.
