Allanda Small Campbell
About
Dr. Allanda Small Campbell is a soprano and Adjunct Instructor of Voice at the University of West Florida, where she teaches voice and music appreciation. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Southern Mississippi. A New York native now residing in Mobile, AL, Dr. Small Campbell has been an active member of the Gulf Coast arts community for many years. She specializes in solo vocal recitals, opera, and oratorio performances, with a particular focus on American and African-American art song and opera composers. Her recent performance highlights include debuting with West Bay Operas production of Giuseppe Verdis Aida as the Voice of the High Priestess and cover for the title role. In addition to her teaching at UWF, Dr. Small Campbell serves as the Director of Music Ministries at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church, where she combines her passion for performance and education in service to the community.
