Alia Goldfarb
About
Alia Goldfarb has been teaching voice and performance in Fort Collins since 2012, combining methods of cutting-edge vocal pedagogy across genres, somatic practice, and trauma-informed approaches. Born and raised in Basel, Switzerland, her musical and dance training began in 1994. She moved to New York City and completed her B.A. in Peace, Conflict and Coexistence Studies with a focus on the Applied Performing Arts at Brandeis University in 2013. In 2014, she moved to Colorado and graduated with an M.A. in Applied and Education in Theatre from the University of Colorado Boulder. Alia specializes in Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) techniques, Musical Theatre, and foundational classical training. Her goal is to provide access to skills for individuals to nurture self-empowerment, creative self-expression, and build community through music and theatre. She has trained to serve championing Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, including workshop facilitation and volunteering with community groups such as the BIPOC Alliance in Fort Collins.
