Alexander R. Adams
About
Alexander R. Adams is a classically trained bass-baritone singer and professional voiceover artist who teaches private voice lessons to students ages 12 and up. With over a decade of professional performance experience and 8 years of teaching, he specializes in healthy singing technique grounded in current vocal science and pedagogy. He works with students across multiple musical genres including opera, choral music, musical theater, jazz, and popular styles. Alexander teaches in-person lessons at the University of Puget Sound Community Music Department in Tacoma and offers online lessons via Zoom. He is a registered member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). In addition to voice, Alexander teaches beginner piano, electric bass, composition/songwriting, music theory, stage acting, and voice acting. His approach emphasizes proper breath support, healthy vocalization, and resonance for a solid technical foundation.
