Agnese Gallenzi
About
Agnese Gallenzi is an opera soprano and voice instructor based in the greater Los Angeles area, serving Simi Valley and surrounding communities. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance with high honors from Conservatorio G. B Pergolesi di Fermo in Italy in 2016, and continued her advanced training with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Northridge. Agnese has been teaching voice since 2016, specializing in breathing and grounding exercises that connect the body and voice to help students master their vocal potential. As a performer, she is an award-winner of the 2022 District Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and made her international operatic debut at Opera Stara Zagora in 2022. Her extensive performance repertoire includes major operatic roles such as Mimi, Susanna, Zerlina, Pamina, Musetta, Micaela, Anna Maurrant, and Fiordiligi, demonstrating her versatility across the Italian, German, and French operatic traditions. She currently teaches at After School Conservatory, where she works with students of all levels to develop proper vocal technique and artistry.
