Adam Dyjach
About
Adam Dyjach is an experienced voice teacher and performer based in Victoria, BC, with over 12 years of experience teaching one-on-one music lessons. He completed his Masters in Voice Performance (MMus) with Benjamin Butterfield at the University of Victoria, after commencing his musical education at Wilfrid Laurier University in his native Waterloo, Ontario. Adam has attended levels I, II and III of Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method (2021, 2024) and incorporates its principles into his teaching, providing students with evidence-based, functional vocal training. He is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and has attended the Northwestern Regional Conference in Seattle (2023) as well as the National Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee (2024), staying current with the latest developments in vocal pedagogy. He is also a member of the BC Registered Music Teachers Association. Although trained classically, Adam believes that the fundamentals of proper vocal function are universal and can be applied to all genres and styles of music. He offers instruction for all styles including contemporary, musical theatre, pop, rock, jazz, folk, classical, choral, and opera. Adam teaches music lessons out of his home studio AD Music and at the Taber Music School. He was also a lead instructor for the online teaching platform Singdaptive between 2021-2023. Adam currently sings at Fairfield United and St. John Henry Newman churches and with the Vancouver Island Chamber Choir.
