Unleash 1 Million Voices – Singing Carrots Mission

Hi.

I’m Sergey, founder of Singing Carrots.

I’m on a mission to unleash one million voices.

But why does this matter?

Singing is an extremely powerful instrument, gifted to us by nature, that can enrich lives on various levels:

  • It helps us love ourselves through the joy of our voice.
  • We connect with others by singing, listening, and uniting in a choir.
  • It is a universal language for expressing emotions, kindness, and love, linking us with others, the universe, and the divine.

Unleashing our voice varies with life’s stages.

  • We might think we cannot sing or lack a musical ear and avoid trying due to conditioning or early trauma.
  • We might try singing but dislike how we sound.
  • We might sing in the shower but feel unconfident sharing with loved ones.
  • We might want to perform but fear rejection from a broader audience.
  • We might even try to perform or compose but lack the skills to effectively convey our emotions and spirit.

No matter your stage in the singing journey, I want to remove the barriers preventing your voice from bringing love, joy, and a connection to the universe.

Does everyone need to advance in their singing?

I believe everyone has the right to experience self-love and the joy of singing, both alone and in a group.

And that’s what I call unleashing the voice.

I support performing, composing, and recording music if it spreads love, empathy, and unity. Everyone has their own means of expression and I’d love to empower those.

But I don’t support those chasing fame or spreading hatred. Fame may follow artists who genuinely serve their audience, but my goal is to serve people who want to bring the joy of singing into their own lives and the lives of others.

Enriching people’s well-being by bringing the joy of singing into their lives is what this is all about.

Our world is made of vibrations. Light is a radio wave, and sound is an air movement. Even matter can be modeled as wave equations. Our brain processes touch, feelings, joy, and pain through electromagnetic impulses and emits electric waves. Yoga teachings tell us different chakras relate to specific sound frequencies.

No wonder music that resonates with us makes us tickle, laugh, and cry! Resonance reflects in us, expands our feelings, and amplifies our life experiences.

What resonates with us more than our own body? That’s why our voice is crucial! It connects our soul, mind, and body through natural waves. This is why sound healing and musical concerts bring such powerful moments of unification.

When sound comes from within, from your body, nothing bridges the gap between you and yourself more effectively.

This is why I see immense value in making this natural gift accessible to everyone, regardless of their ‘talent.’

Not by giving it away for free, but by providing a path and tools for self-study, practice, and growth for those willing to put in the effort.

If your heart tells you to join me on this mission, reach out. Together, we can help more people.

Find inspiration below as our users share what singing means to them:

Singing can enrich our lives in a myriad of different ways, but this is what OUR users think about singing.

I sing because I love it, I have at least some talent in it and I just enjoy it. To me, its a gateway into music using the “most beautiful instrument.” Music connects people and changes lives, which is very meaningful to me.

Joshua (11 February 2025)

Singing to me was always a skill that was out of my reach, even when musically I’ve always been super invested; I’ve spent a decade or so making music and TRYING to sing but I never could the way I wanted…I want to sing to express this fire I have inside my chest I want to vibrate outwards not just in my head.

Jar (8 February 2025)

Singing is everything for me.
I sing because it helps relaxes me and I discovered over time that singing helps me heal…

Singing isn’t only my passion it is my story I can tell my whole life with music and every note and lyrics describes every move and decision I make In life.

I sing because I love music and I relish the sound of my voice intertwining with the unique voices of others.

Josephine (20 January 2025)

I sing because of musical theatre, and also because I create content on YouTube and would like to eventually get some singing stuff on there.

Siah Joeris (18 January 2025)

Is freedom, is expression, is fun. It’s something to connect with others (specially my toddler who loves it as well) and so different than my day to day job.

Dai (3 January 2025)

I sing to really feel the song, to be immersed in it. I want to sing and it will make someone happy.

Lauren (27 December 2024)

For me, singing is a way I can express how I feel without communicating. Sometimes I can just sing and the world floats away, like I’m in my own dimension. It’s a breathtaking form of art. It expresses emotions with the sound of a low or high note, the lyrics with meanings dwindled and wrapped behind the sound of instruments and vocals and everything. Music is one of the best things that has ever existed.

Nevee (20 December 2024)

I love to sing. I find that when I hear music, I can’t help but sing. I do the special singing in church almost every week.

Susie Colburn (15 November 2024)

For fun/enjoyment.

I sing to express and take out whats inside me.

Aditya Kukreti (10 November 2024)

I sing because I absolutely love it; singing is my life. It brings me so much joy and fulfillment, and I want to showcase my talent to the world. I’m dedicated to building a strong vocal range and constantly improving my skills. Every performance is an opportunity to connect with people through music, and I can’t wait to share more of my journey with everyone. Thank you for your support as I pursue my dreams as a rockstar in the group GLAMOUROUS!

Asham (4 November 2024)

Singing is a pastime to me. I have always sung, and so has every member of my family. We are not professional singers, only singing with each other and in church but singing and music in general has always been a big part of my life.

Onyedikachi (25 October 2024)

Singing for me is an outlet to express my emotions. often i tend to resonate with songs that reflect specific emotions i feel at that specific time so when I’m feeling down i tend to lean towards more depressing/ sad songs and when I’m happy i tend to listen to happier songs. as someone who’s an over-thinker, was often neglected as a child, doesn’t have much of a social circle, finds it hard to communicate her emotions and get how she feels across to the other party, finding relatable songs help me not only do i feel understood when i read & sing the lyrics but it also helps me put my feelings & thoughts into words & perspective. also when something sounds more pleasing to the ears per say people just tend to listen to what you have to say more and i guess thats what makes me like music/ singing because it makes people listen to me growing up i never felt like i was heard but the one thing i could do is sing and not only did i love it but i realised people stopped to listen and even complimented my singing. so i guess that was when my passion for singing grew.

Emily (17 October 2024)

Singing for me is a way to express feelings intentionally with the lyrics you sing and the emotions that you can hear and feel from the music. I also see singing as a fun extra activity that I can enjoy without anything holding me back from doing it. I also enjoy the fact that I can have fun with it no matter what.

I just want to be good at singing because I found an interest and a compassion I love, as soon as I heard a YouTuber song, I fell in love with their voice, if you want to know what YouTuber, they’re channels is Tycansing on YouTube or search up Musicianhashy.

Singing is a thing to cheer me up, maybe even help me stay focused or have a good time. I sing for a school choir.

Joy (20 September 2024)

I am mystified, allured, and captivated by the art of using one’s own voice as an instrument. I revel in the sheer beauty of it. I find singing to be one of the most emotionally expressive, nuanced, and intimate ways to make and experience music. It is a powerful and healing way to express one’s emotional experience as a human being. It means a lot to me on a spiritual level. Singing is so inherent to us, and that touches me profoundly. The fact that the human voice can sound that good drives me mad with how divine and exquisite it is.

Singing also matters a lot to me as an art form, it is so shockingly pleasing and satisfying when people have good singing voices. It gives me the chills, it makes me feel alive, and it connects me to the most mystical, tender, and esoteric parts of being a human being. I want to reach a level of skill where I am able to execute my highest creative and musical visions with my voice. I aspire to move and excite others with my voice and skill, as other artists have moved and excited me with theirs. I want to pay it forward and be a part of this magical and incomprehensible beauty. I want to express myself in the most holy way I can imagine doing so, which is through singing. I want to channel this intense and consuming love I have for music, creativity, and the world through my voice.

Ultimately, I have intense passion and love for singing as an art, and as a human experience in general. Music and I are one. I might as well be made of music. That’s how crazy I am about it, and about singing. To me it is the best part of being a human being. It humbles me and tethers me to the glory of existence in a way nothing else can.

Samira Ben Mohamed (17 September 2024)

For me, singing is a freedom. At first, I began singing because my school required me to take a music course, so I had to choose choir. At that time, singing was mandatory. But now, I’ve learned to sing in front of friends, sing to myself, singing is a way to let go, to let my feelings out, and to express myself when words can’t. Singing is how I lift myself whenever and however I am.

– Alexandria (24 June 2024)

Singing is life. It’s a God-given talent, a responsibility to use, share and even teach (given that you were taught the proper way). Singing is a great way to learn about and let out different emotions. I can give so many reasons why I sing but on top of it all, it has always saved me and carried me through during tough times. It has lifted me greatly even from rock bottom. It has never left me even when I took lots of stops and starts.

If I am struggling with content ideas, I turn on another play list, sing and focus on that. I have been singing since I was little, did Choir, and a few vocal coaches along the way. I know I’ve never put too much thought into it because it comes from a deep place that is quite the opposite of analytical. It’s free, it’s freedom, it’s peaceful, it’s an outlet undestructive in manor (aside from keeping the neighbors up when belting out lol), it’s a safe place. It’s a moment between me and me and I don’t expect anyone else to understand nor expect them to.
It’s calm.
