This is a unique mix of the available elements of John Denver's last song, "Yellowstone (Coming Home)." The first verse was written and videotaped during a trip down the Colorado River, the second verse was completed later on the same trip and videotaped by a campfire; and the third and final verse was completed and recorded after the trip, as a demo at John's home. This video combines all of these elements to create a more complete version of the song. To smooth out some of the transitions, I altered the pitch of one segment, added a touch of equalization in some spots, and sprinkled in a little reverb and double-tracking in one or two areas.
