Tracks 9 & 10 from his second album “For Everyman” released in 1973 copyright Asylum Records. It was recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, Studio One in Doraville, Georgia and Wally Heider Studios in Los Angeles. This album was the first to feature David Lindley, a multi-instrumentalist who would also appear on four more of Browne’s albums. It also featured a number of the best musicians of the day. "Take It Easy" written with Glenn Frey had been released the year before as The Eagle's first single. Several artists had recorded the song "These Days" but Browne felt that Gregg Allman's version had captured the essence of the song the best so he used Allman's arrangement for his first recorded version. The album received above average reviews and was considered a worthy follow-up to his debut, with improved vocal technique and song writing. It reached No. 43 on the Billboard album chart and achieved Gold status in 1975. It was certified Platinum in 1989. Written and produced by Jackson Browne. RIP Pete Kleinow, Wilton Felder, Glenn Frey, Mickey McGee & David Lindley. (Long ago I heard someone say something bout every man) (Waiting here for every man, make it on your own, make it if you think you can) (If you see somewhere to go, I understand) I'm not tryin' to tell you that I've seen the plan, turn and walk away if you think I am But don't think too badly of one who's left holding sand He's (just another dreamer dreamin' 'bout every man)
